Von Wolfsheild began Qtask as an incubator project for Prolific Publishing, Inc. When Qtask was spun off as its own company, Von Wolfsheild joined as Chief Software Architect, overseeing the long-term vision of the system. Applying more than 30 years of software and hardware design, Von Wolfsheild specializes in complex platform software architecture, including accelerated cross-platform development, lossless compression technology, encryption, gambling systems, and multi-point real-time communication systems (dead reckoning). Most recently, Von Wolfsheild produced and co-designed the award winning hyper-realistic screen saver featured on Microsoft's XP, The Goldfish Aquarium. Besides playing a key role in the conception and creation of a wide array of entertainment titles for Disney, among others, he co-created the Banditâ„¢ Video Slot system, one of the first multi-media video slot systems offered coast to coast from Caesar's Palace to the Showboat in Atlantic City. He has also developed ground breaking training software used by law enforcement, the Olympics, the military, and the aerospace industry, including the Boeing RARO system, and co-developed the world's first consumer CD-ROM set-top box (CDTV). He designed the unprecedented StormVision QV, a quad digital video real-time online non-linear editing system which featured Wavelet compression. Multimedia
