Q - How do I retrieve data or files after I have closed my account?

A - While your account is active, Qtask archives all data, and gives you complete access to download all your data and files. Your data is the same as our data, meaning we do everything in our power to protect and secure it.

For each data type there is usually more than one way to get your data off of Qtask, either just for offline access, archival purposes, or to import into other programs or services. As a general rule for all data you use in your personal life and business, you should ensure you have it stored in at least two separate unrelated places.

If for some reason you do not have access to your data offline, or if you have closed your Qtask account, we can still help. Qtask offers a service to manually recover your data. There is a minimum $90 handling fee, and a $120 per hour processing fee. Most data can be acquired in several minutes, and will only incur the handling fee. In order to get your data, you will need to contact a Qtask representative, and with your written permission, he/she will log into your account and archive (zip) your data with a password, and send it to you.  Contact us »
